Today is a big day as it is the day that Compass migrates from a largely local system to become a nationally available platform. Interest has been growing around the country amongst Charities, CICs and not-for-profit organisations in the platform, that has been developed by the Third Sector for the Third Sector. In response to this interest, Compass will now be available to use for free by such organisations anywhere in the country. Compass brings a number of modules together for organisations to use including the open access isde of the system that allows publication of organisational details, services and events being offered as well as the ability to store fact sheets and guides and advertise job and volunteer opportunities. The secure access side of the platform provides a full GDPR compliant case management system as well as a secure on-line multi agency referral system.
